Euphoria’s way of making a makeup blew our minds in season one, making it nearly impossible to watch without pausing and appreciating every single look. Have you started season two? Doniella Davy, the show’s headline-worthy makeup artist, did not fail to impress us again creating more ‘refined and introverted’ makeup proposals. Although bright colors and glitter made Euphoria’s original aesthetic, we assure you’ll love these new minimal looks and you’ll want to recreate each one of them yourself. Let’s take a look at some of them!
Blue eyes and Kat
Although is hard to add rich colors to a makeup look, Kat applied icy blue and looked stunning. As written on Donni Davy’s Instagram: ‘Kat continues experimenting with different looks this second season. I interpreted this as Kat still being kind of new to makeup, and still very much using it to help figure out who she wants to be’.
This shade gives y2k vibes and looks good in almost every eye. Plus, the hair and outfit were paired perfectly. Give it a try!
Cassie’s first look
Doniella Davy wanted to create more minimalist looks and she accomplished it by giving Cassie a glitter liner and pink lips look that paired perfectly with her story on episode one. Her eyes were framed by a peached colored shade through the night and those rhinestones were a perfect plus to her look. Would you try it?
Maddy’s cat eye
This look is flawless. According to Donni Davy, Alexa Demie (Maddy), took the lead on her own makeup designs, creating a sharp cat-eye that made everyone obsessed. She also added a glitter cut crease on her eyelids that paired perfectly with the AKNA custom dress and matching gloves she wore for the New Year’s Eve party. A party make-up look if we ever saw one!
As unique as Lexi
A simple makeup look but still eye-defining. What do you think of her character’s evolution? The coral eyeshadow was a decision taken by Donni Davi to symbolise her actualisation journey and aesthetic, the shiny berry lips were related to her uniqueness and made her look beautiful. A total Lexi state of mind!
