A cool and sophisticated micro trend that’s been stealing everyone’s hearts (including Kendall Jenner’s and Bella Hadid’s) and we are here to explain why.
If you are familiar to Jacquemus’ La Montagne collection, you may know the hyper-colored and unusually proportioned pieces presented by Mr. Simon Porte Jacquemus and his team, and how once again, he lit the fire of a trend. Influencers and models started wearing the ‘La Maille Pralù Cardigan’ seen on the show and the trend started pop everywhere.
Jeanne Damas, Simon Porte Jacquemus’ best friend, was one of the firsts to ever post a photo with this beautiful piece, as well as Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber. The power of social media (and good styling) as we all know, made the work and -voilà. The micro-trend gained its way to the top in a couple of weeks.
This piece inspired by the ‘90s turned out to be a great product on the market as well and other brands noticed right away. Dolce & Gabbana decided to add long sleeves to theirs, STAUD mixed shades of pink and the Attico is coming out with a cool feathered style one.
